Job Description

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank - ADIB Egypt is currently seeking to hire IT Desktop Senior Specialist

To provide 2nd level technical Support for users as well as support user after installation /deployment new software/ projects

Duties and Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

  • Providing a single point of contact for end users to receive support and maintenance within the organization's desktop computing environment.

  • Installations, tests and deployments of end user equipment, network, IP Telephony, applications, blackberry services (activating , software upgrading, smart phone active sync, BES 12), KMS

  • Specialize in acting with critical departments by working on the presence of quick solutions, and permanently (CEO, O&T ,Treasury , CFO , legal ,risk, Treasury) Etc…

  • Responsible for resolving desktop technology

  • Maintain an security desktop environment by monitoring and managing a multiple security tools (Antivirus and encryption tools )

  • Used “HPSM” as common single platform for management IT solutions by a consistent set of processes to handle service delivery and support quickly

  • Support junior team members design and programming standards and principles

  • Ability to deal with difficult callers

  • Permanent disaster preparedness and stand on the importance of the events “BCP”

  • availability for 24 /7

  • And any other assigned tasks.


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor in Computer science/computer Engineering or the equivalent qualification or experience

  • 4 + years’ of experience in bank with specific emphasis on the IT department’s functions, services and infrastructure .MCSE/MCSE, MCITP – Microsoft Enterprise Admin.

  • VMware Admin – preferred

  • Experience in people management

  • Decision making abilities

  • Issue resolution abilities

  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment.

  • Ability to work On-call 24 hours/day, 7 days/week

  • Problem analysis and problem-solving

  • Excellent Communication Skills - verbal and written

  • Ability to understand and work in a complex technical processing environment through use of sophisticated and leading edge tools

  • Results driven
