Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety programs

  • Plan and implement a production schedule and adjust if needed

  • Support deploying of Henkel's quality strategy, governance, and goals through specific quality projects and targets

  • Ensure compliance to product technology GMP requirements

  • Ensure that quality requirements/considerations are managed for value improvement changes

  • Resolve consumer/customer product and package complaints and on-shelf quality checks issues

  • Determine quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes

  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data as well as make recommendations

  • Ensure quality/hygiene control plans are established for production site changes or production capacity increases

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Make sure the plant's Safety, Health and Environment is compliant with corporate standards & ISO requirements

  • Implement Safety, Health and Environment standards

  • Manage occupational Health program in line with Henkel Corporate guidelines

  • Assure compliance of the plant and tackle complaint from authorities

  • Promote, advise and assist in the development of close working relationships, with respect to Safety, Health and Environment issues, between the plant and all relevant authorities, agencies, local communities and third parties

  • Coordinate Safety, Health and Environment technical external training to plant employee in accordance with local requirement

  • Complete all investigation to avoid reoccurrence of incidents

  • Capture and manage risks of the site through structured development of Task Hazard Analysis and gap analysis

  • Organize internal Safety, Health, and Environment audits, walk around and coordinate among Technical functions the agreed action plans

  • Provide relevant expertise and supporting tools to all Henkel production operations in the area of Safety, Health and Environment and local compliance

  • Enforce SHEQ procedures, maintaining a safe and clean work environment

  • Support manufacturing on a daily basis – accountable for output, yields, uptime, and quality

  • Work closely with other shift team leaders and shift team members to ensure consistent performance and standardization in practices across the shifts

  • Support both production and engineering teams, ensuring compliance with all ISO requirements

  • Collaborate with other functions i.e. SHEQ, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and P&L to ensure consistent product quality, safety, productivity and reliability

  • Solve short-term and long-term process issues through solid root cause analysis and implement solutions that eliminate such issues

  • Promote and drive HPS, problem solving with 5 Whys, root cause analysis and continuous improvement culture within the team

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate preventive & corrective maintenance activities to maximize use of maintenance technicians and minimize downtime

  • Liaise with Maintenance Supervisor to set priorities and amend weekly maintenance schedule as necessary

  • Maintain accurate Master Data and ensure timely and complete information is recorded in the CMMS

  • Support Spare Parts Storekeeper where job responsibilities permit (e.g. by managing inventory)

  • Review and update the maintenance management program related to amendments of the preventive or predictive maintenance schedule (e.g. repetitive problems)

  • Refer issues not related to preventive or predictive maintenance to the Project Engineer for resolution

Henkel Egypt is currently in search for a General Accountant who will be responsible for the following tasks

Duties and Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

  • Perform monthly fixed assets closing including posting of depreciation and reconciliation of accounts

  • Allocate payments from bank statements to the correct accounts

  • Process complex investment projects

  • Create and modify asset master data

  • Post travel and entertainment expenses

  • Clear open items


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

  • 0-2 years of experience in Accounting

  • Fluency in English. French is a plus

  • Experience in SAP is a plus

  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are preferred
